On our way to China we had a seven-hour layover in Frankfurt. We went on a guided tour to kill some time. There are several tours you can book online in Frankfurt Airport. All the tours are in German only. Nevertheless, Maxi Tour is interesting for any foreigner who does not speak German. After you get your entrance ticket, the airport security staff check your belongings. Then, you get on a bus with a tour guide. During the tour you are allowed to take pictures. The guide will give you the latest information about the planes, flight operations, and the airport structure. You are welcome to ask questions and request to stop at a particular location in order to take better pictures. Time flies by as you are on the tour.
